Barnhart-Crane is hiring a Trainer to support our Training team by developing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality programs across the Training Center and branch network, including classroom, hands-on, and virtual sessions.

You will partner with SMEs to create materials, administer assessments, manage records in IFS and LMS, and lead weekly safety meetings while traveling to Memphis and other sites.

Competenze

• Strong working knowledge of Barnhart processes, tools, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with Webex and video production tools is a plus.
• Experience with IFS or similar ERP/training record systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking on camera.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
• Prior field, rigging, or crane operations experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and virtual training sessions across Barnhart locations.
• Travel to Memphis Training Center and branch locations as needed.
• Develop and present instructional materials, including PowerPoint presentations, videos, and other multimedia content.
• Appear on camera for instructional videos and live demonstrations as needed.
• Use Webex and other presentation tools to facilitate remote training sessions.
• Partner with Training Department staff and SMEs to create, update, and refine course materials, SOPs, ICE sheets, and other training documentation.
• Develop and administer knowledge and practical assessments to evaluate trainee performance.
• Continuously review and update training materials to align with policies, safety standards, and processes.
• Record and maintain training attendance, results, and history in IFS and the MyBarnhart LMS.
• Support auditing by identifying/correcting data entry errors in training records.
• Assist in developing training systems and process improvements within the department.
• Lead and document weekly safety meetings as Safety Officer.
• Build relationships across branches to identify training needs and develop local trainers.
• Support remote trainers for specialized programs (Journeyman Rigger, Gantry, etc.).
• Participate in script development, filming, and production of training videos and content.
• Maintain Training Center setup, equipment, and readiness for courses.
