Job summary

Dynagrid is seeking a Training Specialist to develop, coordinate, deliver, and continuously improve field-based safety and operational training across utility construction operations. The role requires extensive field presence, engaging crews and leadership to ensure compliant, safe work practices on high-risk projects.

Responsibilities include delivering hands-on training, new hire onboarding, regulatory compliance, and incident-prevention coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED. Associated/bachelor's preferred.
• 5–8+ years in utility construction, heavy civil construction, or infrastructure operations.
• 3–5+ years of field safety, training, or operational leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and utility construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on safety and operational training to field employees.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire safety orientation, OSHA training, and client-specific programs.
• Conduct field demonstrations, toolbox talks, and practical safety exercises.
• Visit jobsites to coach crews and reinforce safe behaviors.
• Maintain training documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Lead onboarding and workforce development initiatives.
• Promote safety culture and employee engagement in the field.
• Support LMS administration and training reporting.
