Job summary

Imperium Utility Services in Oklahoma City seeks a Training Manager to lead the organization’s training and DOL Apprenticeship program, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the utility workforce.

You will develop, administer, and audit training curricula, manage apprentice enrollment and progression, coordinate safety training with EHS, and partner with Operations and field leadership to align programs with business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in electric utility, transmission & distribution, or power delivery.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships across organizations and with regulatory bodies.
• Strong organizational skills with compliant recordkeeping for apprenticeship programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program and day-to-day administration.
• Coordinate safety training with Safety/EHS and ensure OSHA, NESC, NFPA, DOT compliance.
• Maintain apprentice enrollment, orientation, progression, evaluations, and documentation.
• Develop career pathways from apprentice to journey-level positions.
• Maintain audit-ready apprenticeship records and serve as primary contact for regulatory partners.
