Job summary

Arizona Autism United (AZA United) is seeking a Field Trainer for Habilitation Services to support the HCBS/DSS department with matching, monitoring, and training habilitation, respite and attendant care providers in the East Valley.

The role combines remote coordination with in-person client visits (Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert). Expect 30–40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 2:00 pm–6:00/7:00 pm, with a starting pay range of $22–$25+ and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent years of related work experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience providing home-based habilitation for multiple children/youth with autism.
• Own transportation to client homes; proof of insurance/registration required; drive time paid.
• Strong communication skills across diverse populations; ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools (Outlook, Teams).
• Knowledge of habilitation and autism spectrum disorders; fingerprint clearance and TB screening required.
• Flexible schedule with availability Mon-Fri 2:00 pm–7:00 pm; Spanish speaking a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support for Habilitation, Respite & Attendant Care Providers.
• Conduct home visits to assist providers with hands-on training and guidance.
• Develop teaching strategies, complete reports, and coordinate activities with families.
• Deliver presentations for new employee orientation and related training classes.
• Assist families with ISPs, goals and teaching strategies; monitor compliance requirements.
