Job summary

Victaulic is seeking an experienced Tool Application Specialist to support tool-related inquiries for US customers and collaborate with product teams. The role involves direct customer interaction at job sites, travel, and coordination with US and global teams for new product initiatives and literature updates.

Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical aptitude, strong customer service skills, and experience in field service or technical support.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, operate, and explain mechanical systems and tools.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with customers and end-users.
Direct customer-facing experience in field service or technical support is required or highly preferred.
Electrical diagnostic skills including familiarity with PLCs and general electrical troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel up to 35% nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

Provide direct interface with end-users with product questions or concerns at job sites and by phone.
Collaborate with design, product management, and marketing teams on literature, instructions, and installations.
Coordinate technical support within the US Engineering Services Team and Beta site feedback on new concepts.
Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of Victaulic tools and products; demonstrate tool operation.
Support sales with technical inquiries and assist with customer installations and performance evaluations.
