Job summary

Waterton Construction Group is seeking an experienced construction professional ready to begin in the field as a Superintendent for 6–9 months before moving into a full Project Manager role. This hands-on leadership opportunity emphasizes learning our systems, people, projects, and approach to field execution.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction leadership, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the ability to coordinate with crews, clients, and vendors across Texas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, civil, sitework, and outdoor projects.
• Ability to learn Waterton's systems and lead field teams.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and project data.
• Experience with CoConstruct or similar PM software.

Responsibilities

• During the initial field phase, work with field teams to learn Waterton's operations and projects.
• Lead and coordinate field operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Build relationships with crews, subcontractors, clients, vendors, and leadership.
• Develop understanding of schedules, production, labor, materials, and field execution.
• Transition into managing projects from launch to completion as Project Manager.
• Manage schedules, budgets, labor, production, documentation, and costs.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review, estimate, negotiate, and process change orders.
• Monitor project costs, billing projections, and financial performance.
• Manage project information in CoConstruct and related systems.
• Lead production and project meetings and report updates to leadership.
• Resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward.
