Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a Site Superintendent to own field execution for active construction projects in West Texas. You will lead on-site crews, align subcontractors, and ensure work conforms to drawings, specs, and submittals, while maintaining safety and daily progress reporting.

The role requires coordinating multiple trades, building short-term schedules, and resolving field issues to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in site, mechanical, general, or electrical construction.
• On-site work in Barstow, TX and West Texas area.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong safety focus and field leadership.
• Clear written and verbal communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day field execution for active construction scopes, aligning crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to the project plan.
• Build and manage short-term field schedules, anticipate constraints, and progress toward milestones.
• Verify installed work against drawings, specs, submittals, and requirements before downstream work.
• Coordinate inspections, field documentation, RFIs, submittal info, and issue resolution with the project team.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and set expectations on sequencing, manpower, quality, and schedule.
• Monitor site safety, housekeeping, and compliance, addressing concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily reports covering manpower, progress, site conditions, deliveries, and events.
• Identify deficiencies, drive corrective action, and support punch list through closeout.

Focus:

• Verify installed work against drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and applicable requirements before issues affect downstream work.
• Coordinate inspections, field documentation, RFIs, submittal related information, and issue resolution with the broader project team.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate clear expectations around sequencing, manpower, quality, and schedule.
• Monitor site safety, housekeeping, and compliance, addressing concerns promptly and reinforcing accountable field practices.
• Maintain accurate daily reports covering manpower, progress, site conditions, deliveries, and notable project events.
• Identify deficient or incomplete work, drive corrective action, and support punch list completion through project closeout.
• Partner with project leadership to resolve field conflicts and changing conditions before they disrupt cost, quality, or schedule.

Skill Set:

• Relevant specialty construction experience in site, mechanical, general, or electrical scopes.
• Able to work on site in Barstow, Texas, supporting projects in the West Texas and Pecos area.
• Industrial construction experience is welcome for specialty superintendent backgrounds, and prior data center or mission critical experience is not required.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, field sequencing, quality expectations, and jobsite safety.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and vendors while balancing schedule priorities and field conditions.
• Comfort using common construction and office technology for schedules, reports, communication, and project documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, practical problem-solving ability, and a dependable field leadership style.
