RRC Power and Energy in Haskell, TX is seeking a Testing Technician I to support field inspections, sampling of concrete, aggregates and soils for wind and solar projects across the United States.

The role emphasizes QA on renewable energy construction with heavy travel (95–100%). A valid driver''s license, clean record and willingness to travel to remote sites are required; a personal vehicle is preferred, and a company truck may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to travel to construction sites in remote locations within the country.
• Personal vehicle for use on construction sites (pickup truck or SUV) that meets the company''s requirement is preferred. A company truck can be provided if deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

• Field inspection and sampling of concrete, aggregates, and soils for foundations and access roadways for wind and solar projects to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Candidate will be primarily performing quality assurance tasks associated with construction of renewable energy projects throughout the United States.
• Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, performing calculations, data reduction of test results, and observing and documenting field activities.
• Extensive travel (95–100%) throughout the United States will be required. Must be willing to travel for the duration of the assignment. Lodging and per diems will be provided.
• Position may require extended and/or irregular hours to meet our clients’ needs.
