Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking experienced Construction Materials Technicians for traveling assignments on Wind and Solar Farms and remote projects across the United States. The role requires overtime, outdoor work, and strong integrity for field testing and verification of specifications.

Responsibilities include performing concrete and compaction testing, daily reporting, and clear communication with project leaders. Requires HS diploma, 1–3 years’ experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and a good driving history required.
• “Ability to travel extensively and work at remote project sites across the US.”
• “Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required.”
• “Previous materials testing experience preferred.”
• “Technical expertise in electronic field data collection.”
• “Able to interpret plans and specifications.”
• “Excellent written and verbal communication skills.”
• “Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.”
• “iPad experience a plus.”
• “Ability to lift 50 pounds.”

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete and compaction testing on commercial construction projects.
• Prepare daily reports on testing and daily activities.
• Report observations and test data with accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate test results with project leads and site superintendents/foremen.
• Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.
