Job summary

Halter seeks a Territory Manager in the US to drive new business growth and customer success across the Black Hills region in South Dakota. You will lead field sales from ranch to kitchen table, build strong relationships with local agricultural groups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Halter’s virtual fencing technology delivers value.

You’ll engage in prospecting, on-site demonstrations, and ongoing account management, with a hands-on approach and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Results-driven, motivated, and adaptable with strong communication.
• Ranching or cattle operation experience helps connect with customers.
• Proven ability to create new business opportunities and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a new business pipeline within the territory.
• In-field sales visits on ranches and at events to demonstrate Halter’s value.
• Expand existing opportunities and upsell Halter solutions.
• Hit sales targets; manage today’s deals and plan for next month.
• Own the customer onboarding handoff and deployment to ensure value.
• Represent Halter across local agencies and agricultural groups within the territory.
• Frequent travel within the Black Hills region of South Dakota and surrounding areas.
