Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. seeks a skilled Business Systems Technician to install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and network equipment across multiple sites in the United States.

You will perform post-install tests and coordinate with central office teams while ensuring safety and quality standards. Qualified candidates have an Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, with strong OTDR testing skills and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in a technical discipline or 6+ years related experience.
• Two-year technical degree in computers/electronics or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED is required as a baseline qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment.
• Complete post-installation tests for call processing functionality and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office/network equipment, fiber cross-connects, and inside wiring.
• Perform OTDR tests and interpret results.
• Work in inside and outside environments and maintain safety standards.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
