Job summary

Antietam Broadband is seeking an energetic Business Sales Executive in Carroll County, MD to grow revenue through new business development and community engagement. This in-market role will be 100% in person, with uncapped commissions and an OTE of $80,000–$95,000 per year.

The position requires 5–7+ years of sales experience, consultative selling, and strong presentation skills. A signing bonus of $1,500 is offered with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of sales experience required in telephony, data and video systems preferred.
• Experience in consultative selling process, including pre-call prospecting and setting appointments, completing a comprehensive needs analysis, creating proposals, and presenting and closing business.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, networking and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Experience with Metro E Fiber access, managed network services, and cloud solutions (DRaaS, UCaaS, SECaaS, IaaS).

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities through internet research, networking connections, and referrals to connect with potential clients.
• Build sales relationships with businesses, local community organizations, local government officials, chambers of commerce/community clubs, and economic development organizations to promote Antietam Broadband services and acquire customers.
• Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Antietam products and services.
• Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies and designs including Ethernet, VoIP, networking protocols, and related services.
• Maintain accurate and quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
• Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Collaborate with internal teams (IT, TechOps, Construction, Installation, Technical Support, Customer Care) to ensure operational efficiency and service levels.
• Coordinate with marketing for campaigns (direct mail, digital media) to promote the company and create revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with installation team on scheduling new installs and upgrades.
