Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a skilled Field Technician in Austin, TX to install and maintain voice, data, security, and VoIP systems across customer sites. You will travel to client locations within a defined geographic area and perform installations, upkeep, and service through a self-managed, customer-focused role.

The position requires 1–5 years of telecom experience, strong communication skills, independence, and Cisco equipment familiarity.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in telecommunications or related electrical fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently with strong technical aptitude.
• Experience working with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain voice, data, security and VoIP systems and equipment.
• Build on customer service skills to ensure work orders are completed.
• Travel to and from customer locations within a defined geographic area performing installation of services on behalf of our client.
• Use a laptop and various software applications.
