Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Business Installation and Repair Technician to install, and maintain various telecommunications systems, and support the growing IoT market. The role offers field-based work with a company vehicle and travel to customer sites within a defined area.

You will perform installations and repairs, operate with a customer-focused mindset, and use a laptop with client software to complete work orders. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in telecommunications networks or similar electrical fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently with a strong technical aptitude.
• Experience with Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain voice, data, security and VoIP systems and equipment.
• Build on customer service skills; ensure work orders are completed.
• Drive to and from customer locations within a defined geographic area for installation of services.
• Utilize a laptop computer and various software applications.
