Job summary

Uniti is seeking a construction line worker to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits across aerial and underground networks. You will operate bucket trucks and other heavy equipment, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety during all procedures.

The role requires travel up to 50%, weekend/holiday/overtime availability, and adherence to DOT standards. A valid driver’s license and exposure to field engineering are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate construction equipment such as digger derricks, bucket trucks, back hoes, trenchers, or cable plows.
• Pole climbing certification is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables (aerial and underground).
• Use test equipment to measure signal strength and locate faults.
• Set up service for customers and test equipment connections.
• Work in trenches, manholes, tunnels, or crawl spaces as required.
• Adhere to safety procedures and DOT vehicle inspections.
