Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the network hub to customers’ residences. This safety-sensitive role requires precise workmanship and a commitment to customer service.

You will interpret drawings, promote Uniti products, train new staff, and operate field tools and equipment while adhering to safety practices and DOT requirements where applicable. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills needed.
• DOT pre-employment screening and certification may be required.
• Ability to operate field equipment and physical tools.

Responsibilities

• Install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from hub to residences.
• Use technical skills and customer focus to connect customers with Uniti services.
• Interpret drawings and complete required paperwork.
• Promote Uniti products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
• Operate a hand-held computer and field equipment.
