Job summary

Uniti’s Kinetic unit is seeking an on-site Line Worker in Concord, NC to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables and conduits, including fiber and copper lines above and underground.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in all weather, and travel up to 50%. You’ll operate bucket trucks, ladders, and other equipment while following safety standards and DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a variety of construction equipment to complete installations.
• Pole climbing certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT pre-hire checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and cables including fiber and copper lines.
• Set up service for customers and test equipment connections.
• Operate bucket trucks and climb poles as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and read design engineers’ instructions.
