Job summary

EchoStar is hiring a Service Technician to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products at customers’ homes across the United States. You will travel to sites, diagnose issues, and educate customers on using their technology to maximize value.

The role includes paid training, competitive benefits, a company van, tools, and uniforms. You will work independently at times while collaborating with a team to ensure a world-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel; shifts may include evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Physical ability: climb ladders up to 40 ft; lift up to 70 lbs; meet 335 lb weight limit.
• Customer focus and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce smart home tech.
• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes.
• Teach customers how to use their tech and upsell when helpful.
• Maintain a clean work area and stay professional while working independently or with the team.
