Job summary

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, seeks a Field Specialist to support riding mower programs across a large territory. You will diagnose and repair units in the field, recruit and train service centers, and collaborate with the engagement center in Anderson, SC.

The role requires extensive travel, strong mechanical skills, and excellent communication to satisfy customers and end-users.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory with overnight stays.
• Must be mechanically inclined; rider repair training provided.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Prior presenting and/or training experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused with ability to work independently.
• Empathy and ability to relate to customers.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large territory for riding mower support.
• Diagnose and repair riding mowers in the field.
• Recruit and train new service centers for riding mower repair programs.
• Train existing service centers within territory on current and new riding mowers.
• Be a subject matter expert on riding mower programs.
• visiting customer residences to diagnose and repair mowers.
• Visit service centers for repair assistance as needed.
• Maintain open communication with all TTI parties.
• Provide performance reports when requested.
• Work with engineering and project management on issues identified.
• Keep an organized and clean company vehicle and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
