Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You will interact with customers, perform technical assessments, and ensure top-quality service using up-to-date equipment. Training is paid, and a company vehicle, clothing, and tools are provided.

The role offers a starting pay of $21.00 per hour with opportunities for advancement, quarterly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits as you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and comprehensive technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility.
• Perform installation tasks, including voice, video, and data installations, as well as service changes and disconnects.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to CPE and ensure optimal signal levels.
• Act as a liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco’s services and educate customers on their proper use.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders regarding network extensions.
• Maintain a positive customer experience and log information on work orders and referrals.
• Mentor and train other team members as required.
• Maintain a clean work environment and perform on-call duties as required.
• Operate and drive a company vehicle safely and maintain equipment.
• Model Midco’s values and ensure customer privacy.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
