Job summary

CGP Maintenance & Construction Services Inc is seeking a Field Technician to deliver high-level customer service while performing hands-on maintenance and repairs across multiple trades. You will communicate with clients on-site, document work, and adhere to safety standards and client requirements, supporting the Facility Service Manager and service coordinators.

Qualifications

• Must have basic ceramic tile experience and ability to remove floor or wall tile and grout.
• Must have basic plumbing skills (faucets, unclog toilets).
• Must have basic electrical skills (bulb replacement, outlets).
• Must have basic wall repair skills (patch drywall and texture).
• When a job can’t be completed during business hours, contact the office and provide rough estimate and prices.
• Troubleshooting electrical or leaks.
• Understand NTEs and coordinate with Project Administrator/Service Coordinator for increases.
• Wall repairs including patching and texturing; light painting.

Responsibilities

• Must call client location in advance for all work orders.
• Must bring necessary tools for the trade.
• Must have paperwork and instructions for the client/work order.
• Introduce yourself to store manager or MOD and explain the visit.
• Provide expectations to client (time, disruptions).
• Leave job site safe if leaving to buy materials; notify SM/MOD.
• Call office for PO number when purchasing materials; use WO number after hours.
• Get before/after photos and obtain signatures on paperwork.
• Call office when job is completed and submit paperwork daily.
