Job summary

Neumo seeks a hands-on License Plate Technician to install, maintain, and repair license plate printers and related production equipment across multiple states. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network issues to minimize downtime and support the Customer Care department as a second-level escalation.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial printing equipment, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical or electromechanical experience required.
• Experience with industrial printing equipment or production machinery preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VPN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, diagnose, repair, and maintain license plate printers and related machinery across state facilities.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network problems encountered by customers or escalated by support.
• Serve as Second Level Escalation for Customer Care with direct technical support when needed.
• Minimize downtime by preventive maintenance and proactive fault identification.
• Collaborate with Support teams and Business Analysts on projects.
• Create and maintain detailed maintenance procedures and troubleshooting documentation.
• Travel to customer sites as required and communicate effectively with staff at diverse facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High school equivalency

Mechanical/electromechanical experience

Industrial printing equipment experience
