Job summary

Neumo is seeking a License Plate Technician to install, maintain, and repair hardware used in license plate and vehicle registration production. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network issues and serve as a second escalation point for Customer Care.

Travel to customer sites and correctional facilities is expected, with hands-on field work balanced by documentation tasks. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school equivalency required; college education preferred
• Hands-on mechanical or electromechanical experience required; experience with industrial printing equipment or production machinery preferred
• Experience reading technical manuals, schematics, or wiring diagrams
• Basic networking understanding (IP, VPN, connectivity) preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, test, diagnose, repair, and maintain license plate and related production machinery across multiple facilities
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues encountered by customers or escalated by Customer Care
• Serve as second level escalation for customer-facing technical support
• Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and proactive fault findings
• Create and maintain detailed maintenance procedures and troubleshooting documentation
• Collaborate with support teams and cross-functional project groups
• Travel to customer sites as needed and supported by production schedules
