Environmental Works, Inc. is seeking a Laborer/Field Technician to perform hands-on industrial tasks across job sites, including pressure washing, hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and safety-compliant operations.

This full-time role requires travel up to 50%, weekend/holiday flexibility, and the ability to work in confined spaces with PPE. A $2,000 sign-on bonus and per diem of $65/day are offered, plus benefits and growth resources.

Formación

• A valid driver's license (for insurability purposes).
• Three (3) years of general labor or construction experience preferred.
• Reads, understands, and carries out oral and written instructions and schedules.
• Shows respect to co-workers, clients, supervisors and vendors.
• Punctual, flexible, adaptable and professional.

Responsabilidades

• Performs hands-on work such as pressure washing, hydroblasting, vacuum truck operations support, spill response, tank cleaning, steam cleaning and basic industrial maintenance.
• Work in confined spaces and tight quarters.
• Wear PPE including respirators, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, coveralls and hearing protection.
• Operate a company vehicle to travel to and from job sites.
• Use hand tools, light machinery and sharp tools on site; maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow safety standards and OSHA requirements.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)

CDL - B Preferred

A valid driver's license

$2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS|NO DEGREE or GED REQUIRED

• Per Diem - $65/day

• Quarterly Bonus after 1 year of employment

LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs various hands-on work such as pressure washing, hydroblasting, dry/wet vacuum truck operations support, spill response, tank cleaning, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters
• Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection
• Operates a company motor vehicle to travel to and from job sites
• Operate hand tools, light machinery, and sharp tools while on job location
• Provides care and light maintenance of tools and equipment to maintain their proper operation
• Works in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with established safety and OSHA requirements

LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS:

• Full-time position
• Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays required.
• Overnight travel required up to 50%; travel via company vehicleHome Most Evenings and weekends!
• On-call availability required seven days a week, with rotations varying by location and crew size.

LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• EWI's field service team works in a variety of industrial plants and settings. We encounter dust, oils, various commodities such as grain and fertilizer, in varying weather/temperature conditions.
• Employee must follow all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• This employee is required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
