Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance on high, medium, and low voltage gear, and troubleshoot complex substation equipment. You will work with engineers and project teams to ensure safe, compliant operations in North America.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the electrical industry, a Bachelors/Associates in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience, and NETA III certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or military experience preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certification.
• Industry Certification programs (Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, manufacturers) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and oversee testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding systems, battery systems, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to restore equipment functionality.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers for efficient execution.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
