Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance, and troubleshoot complex substation equipment. You will support commissioning and critical field operations, ensuring safety and technical excellence.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience, a degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military background, and NETA III certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or Military experience preferred.
• 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certified; Infrared/Corona/Oil Analysis certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead field safety briefings and enforce PPE usage.
• Perform advanced testing and maintenance on high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems using schematics and diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers, project managers, and crews.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and review field documentation.
