Job summary

EPS is seeking a Field Technician II to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low electrical power equipment. You’ll work with SF6 & vacuum breakers, pad mounts, grounding, instrument transformers, and switchgear, while following safety policies.

Responsibilities include performing entry-level testing with Sr Technicians, using manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot, and documenting all tests and maintenance. Requires travel and OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant industry experience.
• NETA II Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level testing of High, Medium and Low electrical power equipment without direct supervision while working with Sr Technicians.
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and optimize equipment functioning.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace and clean equipment and components.
