Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician II to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low electrical power equipment across client sites. The role involves working with SF6 and vacuum circuit breakers, pad mount transformers, grounding, instrument transformers, and motor-operated switches while enforcing safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level testing of High, Medium, and Low electrical power equipment without direct supervision while coordinating with Sr Technicians.
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and determine optimum equipment functioning.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
