Job summary

EPS is hiring a Field Technician II to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low electrical power equipment across North America. You will work with SF6, vacuum breakers, transformers, grounding, and instrument transformers, following safety policies.

Qualified candidates will have an Electrical/Electronic tech degree or military experience, 2–4 years in the field, and NETA II certification; willingness to travel and perform overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant industry experience.
• NETA II certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level testing of High, Medium, and Low electrical power equipment with supervision from Sr Technicians.
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
