Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician II to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage equipment across North America. You will work with SF6 & vacuum breakers, pad-mount transformers, grounding, instrument transformers, and switchgear while following safety policies.

This role requires travel, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology.
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA II Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level testing of High, Medium, and Low electrical power equipment.
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot equipment.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
