Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a BESS Field Technician II in San Antonio, TX to maintain and operate utility-scale battery energy storage systems, monitor through SCADA, perform commissioning, testing and repairs. The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a related position or journeyman level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems and SCADA.
• Willingness to obtain NovaSource Technician Qualification Standards within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate utility-scale BESS power plant assets.
• Monitor through SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection and repairs.
• Adhere to safety and environmental procedures; document work and reports.
