Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for utility‑scale BESS power plants. You will monitor plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspecting and repair of AC/DC systems including inverters, PV modules, transformers, and switchgear.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent (college/technical degree preferred), electrical certifications a plus, and at least 1 year in a related role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state/journeyman, etc. a plus; equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform to quarterly KPIs including energy generation and maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to company protocols.
• Handle PM tasks, testing, and maintenance on site components under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and document procedures.
