Job summary

Veolia North America seeks an entry-level O&M Tech I to learn water distribution and wastewater collection system maintenance. Under supervision, the role covers operating tools and equipment, identifying leaks, and assisting in repairs and safety practices in a field environment.

The position offers after-hours emergency response, training, and opportunities to work with various crews across water and wastewater facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mathematics and computer software familiarity.
• Experience with operation/maintenance of hand and power tools and basic equipment advisable.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service duties such as turn-ons, shut-offs, leak checks, and report water use issues.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair meters, valves, pipes, and related equipment; flush distribution and clean wastewater systems.
