Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework in construction, engineering, geology, or related field is a plus.
• 0-3 years of experience in field-based, outdoor, or physically demanding roles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to operate company‑assigned vehicles safely.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing, or ability to obtain within a specified time period.
• Commitment to workplace safety, following OSHA standards and PPE guidelines.
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and Field Data Collection software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Collect, label, and transport samples from job sites to laboratories for testing.
• Ensure testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications and company policies.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results for project managers.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper functioning according to guidelines.
• Document test results and site conditions, and submit reports and presentations as required.
• Communicate updates on job status and site conditions with stakeholders.
• Adhere to project timelines and schedules; travel as needed.
• Support ongoing training and certification programs.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and PPE usage at all times.
