Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in construction, engineering, geology, or related field is a plus.
• 0-3 years of outdoor/field experience preferred in construction, materials testing, geotechnical, or related industry.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing or ability to obtain within specified time period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure it is within calibration cycles.
• Meet testing requirements per project specifications and company procedures.
• Prepare cost proposals and scopes of work for prospective clients.
• Attend meetings to present technical data to clients and professionals.
• Perform pre- and post-construction surveys and various field tests (soil conditions, CPT, SPT).
• Monitor installation of deep foundations (piles, drilled shafts) and conduct quality checks on materials and processes.
• Install and maintain instrumentation for vibration monitoring; use CAD/engineering software to prepare reports.
