Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. seeks a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment at customer sites across the region. You will order parts, write technical reports, and ensure safety and quality in every job.

You’ll travel with a service truck and stay overnight as required. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years of field diagnostics experience, ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics, your own hand tools, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Two years of continuous experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
• Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as required.
• Valid driver's license; CDL if required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment at customer locations.
• Order parts, document repairs, and write technical reports.
• Maintain safety and comply with company policies.
• Keep service truck clean and in good working condition.
• Attend factory trainings and promote excellent customer relations.
