Job summary

All Roads is seeking an experienced Field Technician - Heavy Equipment to service and repair Vermeer equipment at customer sites. The role involves traveling to sites, diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic issues, and performing necessary repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.

Vermeer All Roads is excited to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to our growing team. Put your skills to work repairing Vermeer machinery and components while traveling to customer sites. You will use your mechanical abilities to work independently while building your skills and advancing your career.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly pay: $28–$40 (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available
• Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
• Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
