Job summary

TEC is seeking a Technician I to install and repair TEC services and equipment across on-site locations. The role requires professional communication with customers and team members, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to perform advanced equipment tests and document results.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, about two years in installation/servicing of communications equipment, and knowledge of LAN/home networking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced communications equipment and local area networking.
• Approximately two years of experience in installation and servicing of communications products.

Responsibilities

• Travel to on-site locations using a personal vehicle or company vehicle; valid driver's license and adequate insurance coverage required.
• Install, access, and maintain TEC products and services in a proficient, timely manner.
• Operate TEC’s customer tracking system efficiently and timely.
• Perform advanced tests of equipment and store results in TEC customer tracking system.
• Consult with customers to determine modifications and recommendations for improvement to systems for customer satisfaction.
• Pursue continued education and industry certifications and training.
