TEC is seeking a Technician I to install and repair TEC services and equipment. The role requires interacting with customers and coworkers professionally, following pre-established guidelines, and applying sound judgment.
The technician may travel to on-site locations, perform advanced tests, and document results in TEC’s tracking system. Ongoing education and potential certifications are encouraged as part of career development.
The overall purpose of the Technician I is to install and repair TEC services and equipment. The Technician I will perform a variety of tasks and relies on experience, sound judgement, and the ability to understand and comply with pre-established guidelines. This position requires the ability to interact and communicate in a professional, effective, and timely manner, both in writing and verbally, with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and managers as well as, the successful use of a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

High school diploma, GED is required. Obtaining communication industry certifications is preferred and encouraged.
Experience in and familiarity with advanced communication industry and Company concepts, practices, and procedures is required. An understanding of communication equipment, construction, installation, and repair as well as, an understanding of local area networking (Lan) and home networking is required. Approximately two (2) years of experience in installation and servicing of communication related products, preferred.
