Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to support FAA field services in the Florida panhandle, focusing on the ZJX airspace sites. You will install, repair, configure, test, and maintain equipment at remote customer locations and collaborate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues.

The role requires reading technical drawings, documenting work performed, and being prepared for on-call hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS).
• Install, repair, configure, test and maintain equipment at customer locations.
• Work remotely and travel to FAA sites within assigned area as needed.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Document activities and communicate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk.
