Our AET Business Unit is seeking a Field Technician to help with our growing environmental consulting and remediation line in scenic Miami!

Position Details

• Business Group/Dept: Operations
• FLSA: Non-Exempt
• Reports To: Project Manager
• Date: August 10, 2022

Purpose of the Position

Perform a variety of field and technical tasks associated with environmental site investigation and remediation under the guidance of the project manager.

Essential Responsibilities

• Collect groundwater samples at various sites following government regulations and AET Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate and maintain remedial treatment systems, including scheduled visits, system restarts, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Assist in geological site investigations, including sampling of groundwater, soil, sediment, and surface water under supervision.
• Oversee drilling subcontractors during well installation and sampling activities.
• Support excavation, system installation, modifications, and site restoration activities.
• Coordinate sample packing and shipping to laboratories.
• Operate heavy equipment, power tools, and perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental standards, and client expectations.

Physical Requirements

Stand for up to 10 hours, perform frequent movements such as kneeling, twisting, and bending. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in extreme weather conditions. Repetitive motions may be required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Steel-toed footwear, hard hat, safety vest, protective eyewear, gloves.
