Job summary

WSI Technologies seeks a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems at customer sites across Michigan. The role is field-based with hybrid remote elements between visits and requires travel up to 80–85%.

You’ll work independently, managing installations, configurations, and support tasks to keep critical systems running reliably. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $25–$30, with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Windows OS support across desktop and server environments.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
• Ability to travel up to 80–85% and pass site clearance/background checks.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site, including servers and recording infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, configure, and test hardware in data centers/telecom environments.
• Configure Windows desktop/server OS and virtual environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; document resolutions.
