Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete and perform density/moisture tests on-site. You will document results the same day and learn to operate nuclear density gauges under a safety program.

No experience required for entry level; we train and sponsor certifications including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety. Pay ranges with experience and certifications are offered, with travel to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather and sites.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus – we sponsor both.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare daily field reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
