Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, run density tests, and document results on the same day. The role starts with structured field training and offers sponsorship for ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I, nuclear gauge safety certification, and NICET Level I/II as you progress.

Work is outdoors, requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel, and offers hourly pay with overtime.

Qualifications

• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to learn and progress through training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
