Tetra is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to deploy multifamily access control and IP camera solutions in Austin, TX. The role involves installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of security systems with hybrid work and local travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily or commercial low-voltage security environments.
• Solid understanding of access control and IP camera networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service access control systems including readers and door hardware.
• Terminate and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring for surveillance networks.
• Diagnose hardware failures and device communication issues in the field.
• Maintain detailed on-site installation documentation and progress notes.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and installation docs to ensure accurate deployments.
• Coordinate with project managers and site managers to complete service calls.
