Loyal Source is seeking a Security Installation Technician in Austin, TX to support commercial security deployments. You will install, program, test, and commission access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems on customer sites.

Preferred candidates have fire alarm installation experience and strong low‑voltage skills. This role requires reading blueprints and wiring diagrams and entails coordinating with project teams to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial security installation experience.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting commercial security platforms.
• Strong low-voltage installation knowledge and field experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and commission commercial security systems.
• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Configure cameras, servers, panels, readers, locks, and associated field devices.
• Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Complete customer training and system demonstrations upon project completion.
• Conduct system testing and verify proper operation of all installed devices.
• Maintain project documentation, installation reports, and equipment records.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Manage inventory, tools, vehicle stock, and company equipment.
• Support system upgrades, expansions, and modifications as required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional jobsite presence.
