Job summary

In-Telecom Consulting, LLC is seeking an Access Control & Security Camera Technician to install and test commercial security systems across Texas. Responsibilities include reviewing project scope, running cabling, installing cameras and readers, and ensuring proper documentation.

The role requires hands-on experience with low-voltage installations, IP networking, and the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on experience in access control, video surveillance or low-voltage cabling.
• Experience running, terminating, testing and labeling low-voltage cabling.
• Experience installing and wiring cameras, access control devices and panels.
• Able to read floor plans, wiring diagrams, riser diagrams and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install access control, video surveillance and related low-voltage systems.
• Run, terminate, test and label cabling per project requirements.
• Test and validate installed systems and document results.
• Coordinate with project team and stakeholders to resolve issues.
