Tetra is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to deploy multifamily access control and IP camera solutions in the North Richland Hills, TX area. The role is full-time, with hybrid work and local travel required.

You will install, configure, and service complex security systems, troubleshoot wiring and network issues, and document progress with customers and project managers. This position offers growth within a rapidly expanding company and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring practices and structural cabling installations.
• Solid technical understanding of access control systems and IP-based camera technology networks.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and work collaboratively within a dedicated, team‑oriented environment.
• Valid driver's license with a consistently clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service complex access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and system controllers.
• Terminate, route, and troubleshoot low‑voltage wiring for networked surveillance systems and security infrastructure.
• Diagnose hardware failures, wiring faults, and device communication issues in the field.
• Keep detailed documentation regarding customer contact and progress on various projects.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation docs to execute deployments accurately.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, field technicians, and property managers to complete service calls.
• Maintain clear documentation of on-site installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
