Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Technician to install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain Access Control and IP Camera systems at client sites.

You will work closely with the Field Supervisor, subcontractors, and customers to ensure quality service and on-time delivery. The role requires at least two years of field installation experience in security, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Software House and Genetec are a plus.
• Certifications in American Dynamics, Bosch and/or other products are a plus.
• Experience installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
• Experience in Audio Visual Technology.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with UT customers and employees.
• Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Access Control and IP Camera systems according to engineered drawings.
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Complete all paperwork related to job tickets.
• Communicate activity to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain the company vehicle in good condition and cleanliness.
• Attend required product or safety training.
