Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers with a focus on delivering great value and customer satisfaction.

You will perform installs, upgrades, and repairs using up-to-date equipment, participate in on-call shifts, and contribute to a safe, team-oriented work environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• FTR certification within 90 days of hire and apply principles on the job.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers.
• Conduct technical evaluations for service feasibility and assess internal costs.
• Perform voice, video, and data installations and service changes.
• Troubleshoot and repair from tap to CPE, ensuring optimal signal levels.
• Educate customers on services, help them access online help, and upsell when appropriate.
• Log all work orders and ensure customer interactions are properly addressed.
• Maintain safety and wear appropriate PPE; drive company vehicle legally and safely.
• Provide on-call support and mentor teammates as needed.
